Screen Saver Installation notes
Files: Bouncer.scr, Spirograph.scr
These are old. Really old. I mean, really, really, very old (in Internet-time). I wrote them in Visual Basic 3.0, circa 1994. As such, they require the file vbrun300.dll. You should be able to install this file in the same directory as the screen saver file itself, which is C:\WINDOWS on Windows 95, C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 on Windows XP, and I'm not sure on the ones in between. You may need to experiment. This file should not conflict with any other DLL's on your system.
Another limitation on XP, and I'm not sure what other versions, is that the "Settings" button doesn't seem to work anymore. It simply previews, the same as the "Preview" button. This is a bummer, since setting the options is a nice thing to be able to do. I could (a) modify and recompile the code in a newer development environment, or (b) post instructions on how to set the options manually using a .INI file, but at this time, neither is a high priority. If you want to use these and set your options, just drop me a line and I'll send you details on the .INI file. I really wonder if I'll ever get around to option (a), but you never know...
By the way, all files are compressed with pk-zip- compatible software, so just uncompress them and place them in the above- indicated directories.
